Though, I wouldn't say the brands are vegan. Some Chacos and Tevas are made with leather or other animal products (the glue typically used to manufacture footwear often isn't cruelty-free). And Jambu, as a brand, is exactly the same.

I've only heard of a few "vegan brands" that carry what I was looking for: durable and comfortable adventuring sandals. There are Okabashis (http://www.okabashi.com/), Splaff (https://sites.google.com/site/splaffretailsite/), and a small handful of others. Checking out the websites, I was really underwhelmed by the amount of options available, and I felt like I couldn't find the perfect adventuring sandal. So, I ended up going purchasing a shoe from a non-vegan brand with a plethora of vegan options!

Hopefully I won't need new sandals for awhile, but when I do, I'll probably mosey on over to Teva or Chaco online! There are so many sandals to choose from!tinajoanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04688145880831742239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6859778616426270768.post-61162828685218434762013-08-07T05:39:07.342-07:002013-08-07T05:39:07.342-07:00Those sandals are adorable! Kind of similar outdoorsy sandals.Alicia | Jaybird: Home in Motionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08452136535427124920noreply@blogger.com
